Govind Hathi's (Mr H) journey is a testament to the power of determination and family legacy. In 1972, he made a significant move from Uganda to London, driven by political instability and the desire to provide a better life for his family. For over two decades, Mr H dedicated his skills and expertise to Barclays Bank, carving out a successful career in the heart of London. It was during this time that his son, Samit, ventured into the pharmaceutical business. Recognizing the potential, Govind extended his support and insights to Samit's growing enterprise. His proficiency into tight cost controls is a key philosophy of the company today.

Today, Govind Hathi holds the role of Director of Treasury, overseeing the financial heartbeat of the company. His legacy is a testament to the enduring spirit of entrepreneurship and the strength of family bonds, as together, they set new standards in the pharmaceutical industry

Founder and CEO

Samit's journey in the pharmaceutical industry is nothing short of remarkable. In 1989, he graduated with a BSc (Hons) degree in Pharmacy from Kings College. Despite facing financial constraints, Samit's determination led him to purchase his first retail outlet within just one year of qualifying. By 1995, he had established a chain of 22 retail units, which were successfully sold to a major high street multiple.

Fuelling his ambition, Samit pursued an MBA at the renowned London Business School, where his team won the prestigious INSEAD European Business Plan Award in 1998. In 1999, armed with his final year thesis, he founded the B&S Group, which rapidly grew to become a leader in its field.

Samit's unwavering passion, coupled with clear business goals, exceptional talent, and astute cost management, has been key to the group's remarkable success. Today, he continues to inspire as he drives the B&S Group forward, setting new industry standards.

Leadership and Development Director

Alpa Hathi, a distinguished graduate with a BSc (Hons) degree in Business Studies from Manchester University, has excelled in senior management roles throughout her career. With her expertise in leading large sales teams at renowned organizations like Unilever and ICL, Alpa joined the B&S Group in 1999.

Throughout her tenure, Alpa has showcased her exceptional leadership skills by spearheading various departments, including Sales, Operations, and HR. As the group's esteemed Leadership and Development Director, she plays a pivotal role in uniting the organization and significantly contributes to its resounding success.

Alpa Hathi is the driving force behind the B&S Group, ensuring its seamless operation and fostering a culture of excellence. Her invaluable contributions are instrumental in shaping the business's achievements and propelling it towards greater heights.
